Our mission
TRANS ALLIES OF OHIO'S MISSION is to help Ohio's transgender, gender non-conforming, and intersex communities advocate on their own behalf by creating safe spaces at Ohio Statehouse, tracking harmful proposed state legislation, providing transgender-specific "how to" advocacy materials, and recruiting allies to assist them in their fight for state-recognized human rights.

Closely with our sibling organization, TransOhio, Ohio's only statewide, trans-led advocacy group to support their fight for positive policy changes and against laws that may harm them.

Parents and families of transgender, gender non-conforming, and intersex children by keeping them informed on the latest Ohio trans law and policy developments, connecting them to potential opportunities to influence those laws, and providing personal support through that process.
WHAT WE DO
Community Care room @ the Statehouse
On days when hearings are scheduled for bills that affect Ohio LGBTQ communities we rent rooms inside the Statehouse where members of the LGBTQ, other marginalized communities, their familes, friends, and allies, can gather to receive support and feel safe.
